If you don’t know about acai, I can guarantee that you haven’t been watching the news lately or really anything. Whether you watch ABC, Oprah, or other big channels or not, you are bound to hear about it. Some say that acai promotes amazing weight loss benefits while others focus for the most part on the healthy antioxidants in acai. Some have tried to use some famous celebrity names, which actually ended up backfiring when all of those companies got sued. But still, some walk on.
Acai is a fruit, and technically, there are fruit extracts emerging that seem to promote potentially powerful weight loss results. African mango for example is emerging as one of the most powerful weight loss supplements, burning fat, suppressing appetite, and controlling a hormone called leptin to control obesity. And razberi-k, a raspberry extract, seems to burn fat again without using stimulants. But acai is no revolutionary fat burner.
Acai is rich in healthy vitamins and natural antioxidants, and it does seem to have some effect on certain parts of a healthy heart and a healthy body in general. But acai has never been clinically proven to promote any weight loss benefits.
You’re certainly welcome to if you would like to. There are some acai diet pills that have other ingredients clinically proven to promote weight loss. But the ones that focus on acai generally don’t, and even those that do have green tea or something like that are still a little bit sketchy.
